Emmie update

Emmie is doing wonderfully. She’s gotten a clean bill-of-health from the vet. She’s gained a couple of pounds, and her coat is soft and shiny.

Foster mom Laurel has this to say:

Emmie is wonderfully sweet, she has mellowed a lot since I first met her. She is much sweeter, loyal and happy. She is defensive around other dogs and barks at noises in the hallway. She is very friendly with people both children and adults, but is a little nervous around people she doesn’t know. She is much better with separation anxiety, barking, and much much better with the leash – does not pull at all anymore. She is still somewhat aggressive with other dogs but a lot better. Emmie has gotten better with her commands like sit, stay, lie down and heel. Emmie is picky about eating her food, she won’t eat if she is too tired or hot.
