Introducing Kitsuni

in Kitsuni

Kitsuni is a 5 yr old female who has the 3 C’s : Cool, Calm, and Collected! She enjoys meeting new dogs and docile at the vet. She’s also good with meeting new people. She tends to ignore dogs on the street but when she is interested she’s very good with them and friendly. With people, she displays some aloofness except when it comes to mealtime!

She doesn’t bark often unless she’s excited for eating – she’s food motivated. She also is fine being left alone and doesn’t beg for attention. Kitsuni likes to sit by a window and watch the world go by. She knows a few commands but needs to learn to walk better on a leash. She never bolts out the door, steals people food off of the counters, or guards her food. She’s a well-behaved dog.

One thing Kitsuni doesn’t like is the metal grates on the sidewalk and manholes. She avoids them by either walking around them or trying to hop over them.

At night Kitsuni sleeps on a blanket on the floor or the couch. She likes stuffed animal toys but overall is a laid back, docile dog that doesn’t get excited too often. She perks up on walks and will pull – from the sounds of it – she doesn’t like the noises of the city too much and seems to want to scurry down the streets. She may do well in a suburb where there aren’t as many maholes, grates, and other loud noises that seem to make her a little nervous.

Her foster family told her that they are still trying to figure out Kitsuni’s personality – as they get the impression that she’s still adjusting and wonder if she will start to show more of herself as time goes on. Keep checking back to learn more about Kitsuni!
