Niko still shows some signs of having itchy skin, but it’s not increased. He’s on a diet of eating potato and duck and occasionally being a naughty pup and getting into the trash can to find “forbidden food.” He’s healthy overall and was very calm at the vet.

DJ is a sweetheart and his foster mom told us he’s very happy and likes to play in the yard and has a great time at the dog park. He likes to chew on nylabones and is calming down, not barking as much, and is friendly with other pets.

July update for Buddy

I had the privilege to meet Buddy and spend time at his foster family’s house. He’s so beautiful and happy. Jenn, his foster mom, told us he does seem to have seasonal allergies which leads to his ears being irritated and if not treated or kept clean, it could give him ear infections. Kitsuni’s July update

Kitsuni aka Bella has been spayed and healed up nicely. She’s shed most of her winter coat and has a nice summer coat and is doing well. Chopstix’s Update

Chopstix’s foster mom, Jenn, told us recently that things are going well. It seems that Choppy may have allergies as she does tear more than her other dogs and has some stains on her face from it.

Barbie’s family took their dogs to a Japanese Garden in Portland, CT and let us know that Barbie and Caleb were perfect. They walked around, explored, and were well-behaved.

Update on Lucy Rose

Lucy is all healed from her surgery. The oncologist believes the cancer won’t come back, although there is always a slim chance. She prescribed an anti-inflammatory for Lucy to take for 6 months. This will help fight off any cancer inflammation that may pop up.

Casper’s June Update

Casper is currently being treated for ringworm. It’s a contagious fungal infection that isn’t too difficult to treat but can be difficult to contain.
