NYC Shiba Rescue, Inc. (NYCSR), a volunteer group dedicated to the rescue of Shiba Inu breed dogs in the NY metropolitan area, today announced that it will be braving the weather this weekend to attend Fido’s Festival USA in Woodstown, NJ on August 29th and 30th.
NYCSR volunteers, along with several shiba breed ambassadors, will be on hand to continue our commitment to educating the public on Shiba Inus and purebreed rescue, as well as recruit new foster families and potential adopters. This will be the second year in a row that NYCSR will be attending Fido’s Festival.
This year’s festival will offer attendees two full days of dog related revelry including; agility and training demonstrations, a dog sled demo, lure racing, Ultimate Air Dogs, a Flying Disc demo and training seminar, and tons more. In addition, they will be making an attempt to break the world record for the most dog couples married at the same time with their Wedding March ceremony on Saturday, August 29th at 2 p.m.
Fido’s Festival USA, http://www.fidosfestivalusa.com, will be held at the Salem County Fairgrounds in Woodstown, NJ on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Admission to this year’s festival will be $12 per person for a one day ticket or $25 per person for a full weekend pass. The Salem County Fairgrounds are located at 735 Route 40, Woodstown, NJ 08098, right off of Exit 4 on I-295.
