Lucy has really come out of her shell in the past month. According to her foster mom, Michele, she’s become much more spunky and bold. Lucy has also taken to sleeping on the bed at night and is more cuddly and sweet. Sometimes Lucy tenses and can be aggressive with food, but the moment she’s corrected she stops. She listens very well and is progressing nicely with meeting new people.
Lucy is more playful and from what Michele and her husband have observed, she would prefer to be the only dog in the house. She loves attention and sometimes doesn’t want to share her people!

My husband and I are experienced shiba owners. Our 14.5+ year old shiba recently passed away and we have another 12 year old shiba. We have had both since they were puppies and we will definitely get another. I would prefer to find a rescue shiba that needs the right home. We are located in Massachusetts and have an ideal home environment for the right shiba. My 12 year old shiba is the best dog ever and I think she would also welcome another shiba into our home. Could you let me know if Lucy is available for adoption and the status of her health?
Thank you.
