Blossom is staying with a temporary foster this week, while her regular foster mom is out of town. Temp foster Lily loves to make videos so we have video of Blossom now!

Adopting a senior dog is truly rewarding and very different from adding a younger dog to your family. This article about adopting an older Shiba is informative.

Like many older dogs, Blossom feels unsettled when moved around and faced with new situations. She needs a forever home where she can live out her life with a regular routine and someone to depend on.

Are you the special home we are seeking for Blossom? If you are interested in meeting her, please complete an adoption application so we can get to know you!

Do you accept donations for a specific pets? I would love to contribute to Blossom’s care. She’s a fox and cougar! I bet you won’t see that confidence in her until the right guy comes to her rescue. She look and act so much like my flirtatious little one that I couldn’t stop replaying the video…have the training position her tail in the upward and curl position – it promotes confidence and get her around some men she can flirt with ;-)

We do accept donations for specific pets. We’re planning to put sponsor buttons on the website soon. In the meantime, you can visit our donation page and just make a note on your donation that it is for Blossom.

Personally, I’ve done bodyshaping with my dogs in the past also and I agree that it can help a fearful or hesitant dog gain confidence. Good idea!
