Introducing Rounder

Rounder is a 2 yr old, 24.5 lb. male who was picked up as a stray in MA. He had a loss of fur due to fleabite dermatitis, but his fur is growing back nicely and he’s slowly gaining some weight back since being found. Rounder recently moved to his permanent foster home and seems to be interested in other dogs but is a bit nervous playing. He doesn’t seem to care about cats at all. His temp foster had a dog and a cat. He did well there and seemed happy to be in a home.

We’re still learning about Rounder’s personality as he acclimates to his new foster home. Stay tuned to learn more about him!

  1. Please let me know his progress! I am very interested in giving Rounder a home.

    • You can follow his progress here on our website. If you’re interested in adopting, you would need to go ahead and submit an adoption application.

Applications are reviewed in chronological order based on date received. Depending on the initial review, we check references and conduct a home visit. After the home visit, if we have a dog that you are interested in and we think is a good match, then we set up a time/place for you to meet the dog. Following the meeting, there is a 24 hour waiting period during which all parties decide if the adoption should move forward.

  2. Hi,
I would love to give Rounder a home! I have a cat, but judging on what I have read, I don’t think that will be much of a problem at all. 🙂 I am only a 12 year old girl so obviously I will need to talk to my parents first! I’ve talked to my mom and she doesn’t seem to have a problem with this, as she had a Shiba Inu in her childhood. She’s japanese 🙂
I will talk to my parents and enter an adoption form as soon as I can!
