Introducing Max

Max is a 2 year old cream Shiba that was surrendered to the Manhattan Animal Care & Control Facility after a life outside. Poor boy was super dirty when we pulled him and so scared at first!

His foster family has told us that Max is a total sweetheart. He was anxious at first, understandably, but he’s relaxing a lot now. He appears to be housebroken and crate trained, and is just a bundle of energy! He likes going on walks and even let his foster family give him a bath! Turns out he’s a Beagle! Just kidding. He’s a shiba through and through! His coat was originally grey and dingy and now it’s bright white with some reddish parts on his ears and feet. It’s really lovely coloring! We are very happy to hear that Max is adjusting well to his new foster home and hope he finds his forever home soon.

Max will be going to his vet check tomorrow! Stay tuned for more updates 🙂
