12/03 Ginger Update

Ginger’s Foster Mom Michele has given us a fantastic update: ‘She is so sweet…Ginger is such a great dog!’

Ginger would do best, as an only dog, in a forever home that is familiar with the breed and Shibas’ need for structure and routine.

She is very affectionate and snugly. It seems like her favorite thing in the whole world is belly rubs and plenty of them! Ginger also enjoys her walks and time outside very much. She loves to play with her toys on her own or fetch with humans as well. This lovebug also likes to nuzzle up next to you on the couch.

Ginger is housebroken, leash trained, crate trained, spayed and up to date on her shots. She is very well behaved when home alone- what a good girl!

08/08 Ginger Update

The lovely Ginger is healing nicely from her spay. Her foster mom says she’s back in the swing of things and acting like her old self after a couple days of taking it easy. Her stitches will be out later this week and therefore she’ll be ready to be adopted! Ginger also is now up to date on all her vaccinations. We’ll have more photos and info about Ginger soon!

Introducing Ginger

fullshot.jpgThis affectionate cream girl is 5 1/2 years old. Her owners, who love her so much, contacted us for help because their 1 year old son is allergic to dogs. They could not stand the thought of her going to a shelter, so luckily for Ginger, they brought her to us instead and we are going to find Ginger a loving, forever home.

Ginger likes to be around people of all ages- including kids! Ginger does not seem to get along with other dogs, though. She does love to play with her soft toys, go on walks and play fetch. She also loves to be petted and rubbed on her tummy. Her mom said “Playtime is anytime!” She’s also totally housebroken and knows her commands. What a good girl - She even LIKES going to the groomer!

Ginger is now up to date on all her vaccinations and is being spayed this week. Once she has had a chance to recover she’ll be available for adoption!
